Director of Methodology

Graciela Leal, Director of Methodology at Rising Impact, combines 15+ years of expertise in Social and Behavior Change (SBC) strategy with a passion for cross-cultural understanding. She ensures that programs are rooted in robust Learning, Monitoring, and Evaluation frameworks, driving measurable impact and transformative change.
 
Graciela has led initiatives worldwide, from clean energy advocacy in India to gender-based violence campaigns in the Caribbean. Her work includes crafting Entertainment-Education programs, such as Unstained, a groundbreaking series addressing sexual health among teens in the juvenile justice system.
 
With a master’s in Sociology of Education from NYU and a bachelor’s in communication studies from Mexico, Graciela’s interdisciplinary training enables her to tackle complex challenges holistically. Beyond work, she enjoys hiking and quality family time. Her passion for exploration and connection fuels her mission to empower communities through education, storytelling, and transformative change.
